USFiles is a real-time embedded DOS file system that may be used without DOS or with another RTOS.
Compilers and Architectures:
USFiles has been specifically integrated for seamless operation with applications developed using standard ANSI C compilers across processors from Intel.
Customizing USFiles:
USFiles may be customized for operation with a floppy or hard disk system by supplying a read sector and write sector function. If time stamping of files is desired, a date/time function can also be supplied. COMPLETE SOURCE CODE IS PROVIDED.
Using USFiles:
USFiles may be used directly with an application or in conjunction with a multitasking system. Seamless support is provided for MultiTask!. Usage with other multitasking executives requires minimal customization. USFiles is designed to allow multiple tasks to simultaneously access files.
USFiles Compatibility:
USFiles supports the same ANSI C user interface and functionality across all processors. You can take standard C code developed for one processor, recompile it, and move to another processor with minimal effort.
USFiles Support:
U S Software maintains a test lab where the same comprehensive confidence test suite is performed on USFiles in multiple target environments. This confidence test is included with your product delivery, and you are encouraged to run it on your own target hardware to verify proper operation.
